Visiting students will need to get a student ID (i-card) only if they want to use one of several campus services: parking assignment, computer labs, U-Pass, check books out from the library, dining hall or use any of the UIC recreation facilities.
If you are a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign or University of Illinois at Springfield, you can use your ID from your home school for most services. However, if you want to use any of the recreation facilities or purchase a parking assignment, you’ll need to get a UIC i-card.
To get an i-card, bring your valid driver’s license, state ID, or passport to the locations listed below. You will not be issued an i-card without this information.
East Campus ID Center
