March 31Registration begins for UIC Students. Check your Time Ticket to see your specific registration date and time for summer.
April 22Open Registration for admitted Visiting Students. Check for Time Ticket to see your specific registration date and time for summer.
May 9Visiting Summer Session Only Application deadline to enroll in the 4-week session only or both the 4-week and 8-week sessions. This includes international students with active status in the U.S.
May 15Intercampus Registration deadline (for UIUC/UIS students only who have financial aid)
June 6Visiting Summer Session Only Application deadline to enroll in the 8-week session only. This includes international students with active status in the U.S.
Summer Session 1 (4-week session) MAY 19 - JUNE 13
May 19Instruction begins for Summer Session 1 (4-week session)
May 21Last day to drop all courses for Summer Session 1 (4-week session) via XE Registration and receive 100% cancellation of tuition and fees.
May 26Memorial Day holiday. No classes.
June 2CampusCare deadline to submit waiver forms.
June 4Last day for students to use optional late drop for Summer Session 1 (4-week session) course and receive a grade of "W" on academic record (no tuition adjustment).
June 12Instruction ends for Summer Session 1 (4-week session).
June 13Final examinations for Summer Session 1 (4-week session).
June 20Final grades available for viewing on UIC Student Portal.
Summer Session 2 (8-week session) JUNE 16 - AUGUST 8
June 16Instruction begins for Summer Session 2 (8-week session)
June 20Last Day to add/drop courses for Summer Session 2 (8-week session) via XE Registration without a "W" on record.
Last day to drop all courses for Summer Session 2 (8-week session) via XE Registration and receive 100% cancellation of tuition and fees.
June 19Juneteenth holiday. No classes.
June 27Last day to file intent to graduate for Summer 2025 via UIC Student Portal.
June 28Payment deadline for summer tuition and fees (for courses in the 4-week session, 8-week session, or both).
July 4Independence Day holiday. No classes.
July 11Last day for students to use optional late drop for Summer Session 2 (8-week session) course and receive a grade of "W" on academic record (no tuition adjustment).
August 6Instruction ends for Summer Session 2 (8-week session).
August 7-8Final examinations for Summer Session 2 (8-week session).
August 18Final grades available for viewing on UIC Student Portal.
