| March 30 | Registration begins for UIC Students. Check your Time Ticket to see your specific registration date and time for summer. |
| April 21 | Open Registration for admitted Visiting Students. Check for Time Ticket to see your specific registration date and time for summer. |
| May 8 | Visiting Summer Session Only Application deadline to enroll in the 4-week session only or both the 4-week and 8-week sessions. This includes international students with active status in the U.S. |
| May 15 | Intercampus Registration deadline (for UIUC/UIS students only who have financial aid) |
| June 5 | Visiting Summer Session Only Application deadline to enroll in the 8-week session only. This includes international students with active status in the U.S. |
| Summer Session 1 (4-week session) | MAY 18 - JUNE 12 |
| May 18 | Instruction begins for Summer Session 1 (4-week session) |
| May 20 | Last day to drop all courses for Summer Session 1 (4-week session) via XE Registration and receive 100% cancellation of tuition and fees. |
| May 25 | Memorial Day holiday. No classes. |
| June 2 | CampusCare deadline to submit waiver forms. |
| June 4 | Last day for students to use optional late drop for Summer Session 1 (4-week session) course and receive a grade of "W" on academic record (no tuition adjustment). |
| June 11 | Instruction ends for Summer Session 1 (4-week session). |
| June 12 | Final examinations for Summer Session 1 (4-week session). |
| June 19 | Final grades available for viewing on UIC Student Portal. |
| Summer Session 2 (8-week session) | JUNE 15 - AUGUST 7 |
| June 15 | Instruction begins for Summer Session 2 (8-week session) |
| June 19 | Juneteenth holiday. No classes. |
| June 19 | Last Day to add/drop courses for Summer Session 2 (8-week session) via XE Registration without a "W" on record. |
| Last day to drop all courses for Summer Session 2 (8-week session) via XE Registration and receive 100% cancellation of tuition and fees. |

| June 27 | Last day to file intent to graduate for Summer 2026 via UIC Student Portal. |
| June 28 | Payment deadline for summer tuition and fees (for courses in the 4-week session, 8-week session, or both). |
| July 4 | Independence Day holiday. No classes. |
| July 18 | Last day for students to use optional late drop for Summer Session 2 (8-week session) course and receive a grade of "W" on academic record (no tuition adjustment). |
| August 5 | Instruction ends for Summer Session 2 (8-week session). |
| August 6-7 | Final examinations for Summer Session 2 (8-week session). |
| August 14 | Final grades available for viewing on UIC Student Portal. |
