Grades and Transcripts

Summer session grades are available online one week after the end of each session.4-week session grades available:

  • 4-week session grades available: June 19, M
  • 8-week session grades available: Aug. 14, M

To check your grades:

  • Go to
  • Log in with your netID and password.
  • Select the “Academics” tab.
  • Select “Records” then “View Your Final Grades” on the left hand side of the screen.
  • Select “Summer 2017” from the drop down menu in the new window to view your grades from Summer Session.

To request transcripts:

If you are a visiting student and are planning to transfer your courses back to your home school, you will need to have your UIC transcript sent to your home school.

You can order an official transcript for both the 4- and 8-week session classes after the 8-week session has ended (August 4). Please note that transcripts may not be available for up to two weeks after a term’s final exams have ended. Transcripts will not be released if there is a hold on your record (i.e. if tuition and fees have not been paid in full).

You can request a transcript in the following ways:

  • Online
  • In person
  • In writing

To request a transcript online:

  • Go to
  • Log in with your netID and password.
  • Select the “Academics” tab.
  • Select “Records” then “Order a Transcript.”
  • A new window will open. Select “Official Transcript Request.”
  • Select from one of the three mailing options: Mail to a 3rd Party, Mail to Self, Pick up at Registration and Records in SSB.
  • Select “UIC-Official Transcript” as the Transcript type. Verify your address if you are having the transcript mailed.
  • Select the number of transcripts you want ordered (1-25). If you want to wait until summer grades are processed, be sure to select “Hold for Grades” in the Print Transcript section.
  • Select the delivery method and review your information before submitting your request.
