If you commute to campus, the Commuter Student Resource Center in Student Center East has study space you can use before and after class.

CTA Ventra U-PASS

The U-PASS provides eligible students who OPT-IN with unlimited travel on all CTA buses and trains at a discounted rate during Summer Session. The U-PASS works like a touch-and-go CTA Ventra fare card and is active 5 days before the 4-week session and it is deactivated 5 days after the 8-week session. The estimated CTA Transportation U-PASS fee for Summer 2023 is $125.

For Summer 2023, the U-PASS will be available for any full-time summer session student (6 or more credit hours for undergraduate/professional students and 5 or more credit hours for graduate students) that elects to OPT-IN prior to the June 19th deadline. All students are OPT-OUT in the summer by default.

To learn more about eligibility criteria and how to OPT-IN to the U-PASS program, visit the ID Center’s U-PASS webpage.
