Summer Session Only Online Application

You are eligible apply.

Proceed to fill out the Summer Session Only application. After you submit the form, you will be provided instructions on the confirmation page to pay the non-refundable $25 application fee. These instructions will also be emailed to you right away for your reference (from summer@uic.edu).

You may qualify for a waiver of the application fee if you fall under any of the following categories:

  • Previously applied to UIC as a Summer Session Only student.
  • Were offered UIC Undergraduate Admission for Fall 2022 (Accepted or Not Yet Decided).
  • University of Illinois employee, benefits eligible only (you are not eligible for a waiver if your parent is an employee). Please note that you will be asked for your UIN when you apply.
  • Qualify for a NACAC fee waiver (submitting the waiver form is not required)
  • Illinois Veteran Grant Recipient. Please note that you will be asked to upload a copy of your IVG letter.

If you selected a fee waiver option but are not found to qualify, you will be sent instructions for payment.

Please note you will not be eligible for financial aid at UIC as a Summer Session Only student because you will be attending as a nondegree student. Read the tuition and fees information (link opens a new window) to understand how much it will cost to attend Summer Session.
